A través de la construcción de un nuevo asentamiento en el umbral del puerto natural de Bahia Portete, frente a Puerto Bolivar, se busca responder a las necesidades de infraestructura de servicios, favoreciendo la economía de las poblaciones nativas (Wayúu).

El proyecto tiene acciones a nivel regional y local con las cuales responde al deficit en los servicios de salud, abastecimiento de alimentos, agua y movilidad.

A partir de rutas de alta frecuencia se busca movilizar a la población a lo largo de la zona de influencia que se extiende casi hasta el parque de La Macuira.

Adicionalmente, el proyecto plantea, varias zonas de reserva ambiental, de agricultura, apta para condiciones extremas, así como de pesca a pequeña y gran escala, y zonas destinadas para el pastoreo caprino.

 

 

Through the creation of a new settlement at the gateway of the natural port of Portete Bay, right in front of Bolivar's Port, we look to respond to the service infrastructure needs, favoring the economy of the native inhabitants (Wayúu)

The proyect adesses in a regional and a local matter, to which reacts to the deficit in health services, food and water supplying and transportation.

By creating scheduled environment friendly cicuits we search to avoid the permanent migration of the natives to the settlement and so the costs and energy waste of the daily transportation. There circuits extend to the Macuira Natural National Park

In addition the project poses various zones  as a Natural Reserve, high and low scale fisshing zones, extreme conditions agricultural areas, and goat rearing.
